We have several glasses recycling programs.

Prescription glasses or contact lenses that can still be used that are in good enough condition go to Lions Recycle for Sight program and get sent to less fortunate communities in Australia and around the world.

Broken glasses and used or scratched lenses can be recycled through our Opticycle Program, once collected, the frames and lenses are transported to a processing facility where they are sorted based on their core material composition. Lenses are removed from the frames before they are dismantled, and the materials are separated. These materials are passed on to local Australian companies as raw materials for new products.
We have also partnered with Spexcyle Australia's first closed loop eyewear recycling initiative. Through their innovative collection and recycling process, they transform waste into new sustainable frames, ensuring that discarded frames are given a new life.
